I am currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Robotics, Evolution and Art Lab (REAL) of the IT University of Copenhagen working under the ERC grant of Sebastian Risi. Our focus is on designing biologically-inspired algorithms and environments for studying how developmental growth can aid in the generalisation and robustness of AI. I am also collaborating with Flowers, Inria on cultural evolution with reinforcement learning and Large Language Model-powered agents. I like analyzing how environments and group properties create challenges and opportunities for agents adapting individually and collectively. What this means in practice is that I I train agents with reinforcement learning and evolutionary algorithms and design environments with dynamics inspired from ecological studies. You can see my recent publications here. I also like fiction, especially science fiction inspired from ideas in complex systems. Here are some of my short stories.
